Expanded Church Response (ECR) is a faith based organisation implementing orphans and vulnerable children, gender based violence, HIV/AIDS, and other programs to mitigate human suffering and bring transformational development. The company has implemented programs funded by USAID, European Union, UNICEF and Global Fund either directly or through a range of highly regarded local and international organisations. Working with partners like the private sector and government, ECR has improved the quality of life for the most vulnerable. ECR is seeking a qualified and highly motivated candidate with a passion for the vulnerable and awakening potential in others for a USAID project – ZAMBIA FAMILY (ZAMFAM).
Duties and responsibility
Principal the project’s in-house capacity building and quality improvements efforts
Overseeing the technical and organisational capacity development of the prime organisation and the sub-partners.
Tailoring capacity building plans that may include human resources management, financial management, reporting, resource mobilisation, sub-grant management, governance, reporting, monitoring and evaluation.
Qualifications and experience
Bachelor degree in Social Sciences, Business Administration or a related field
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in capacity building
Experience in assessing technical capacity of organisations
Experience in developing customised capacity building plans and providing individualised training , mentoring and on-site support in various technical areas
