Innovate Capital Solutions invites applications for the positions (x3) of Relationship Manager. This position requires an individual with high sales, marketing, negotiating and networking skills.
Innovate Capital Solutions is a financial services provider of affordable and sustainable short term capital and structured loans to Micro, Small and Medium enterprises (MSMEs). The company employs a relationship and cash-flow based lending model aimed at enhancing a high retention rate through building strong business relationships with the clients. Partnerships between ICS and the buyer, client character (willingness to repay) and cash-flows (ability to repay) is key determining factor as opposed to collateral in structuring a facility.
The Account & Relationship Manager will be responsible for selling and marketing Innovate Capital Solutions products and services to existing and potential SME (Small and Medium Enterprises) clients in the assigned sub sectors, and developing new business leads.
Key Result Areas:
To sell, present and on-board off takers on the Innovate Capital Solutions value program.
To originate and manage a profile of borrowing customers by proactively identifying MSME clients.
The ability to coordinate research in respect of given sector and manage exposures on the underlying portfolio.
To maximise and increase wallet share through cross selling the entire product range of the Innovate Group of companies.
Achieve the set sales targets in order to maximize the portfolio profitability
To ensure a minimum of 90% timeous repayment of accounts.
To facilitate the signing of Facility Letters and Loan Agreements and scrutinize the signed documents to ensure the correctness of the contracts.
To manage and escalate unresolved issues when necessary.
Proactively and timeously initiate all credit proposals and obtain appropriate approvals
Attend regular meetings with customers, management and other internal stakeholders
Development and implementation of the sales strategy
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
Grade 12 Certificate
University Degree in Commerce, Economics, Business Administration, and any Finance related field of study
At least three (2) years in a lending or sales related role.
Working knowledge of financial products and services
Demonstrated selling, negotiation and communication skills
Demonstrated sound knowledge of PowerPoint and presentation skills
